Pictures of sleeping babies are a whole lot cuter when you haven't had a dead baby.

yes, when I took pictures of a newborn Beanie, I deliberately didn't share some of them as he didn't look like he was just asleep.

Geez, thank you for saying this. Even babies sleeping in my arms make me look twice...
Right on! I actually don't, as a rule, take pictures of sleeping babies-- it's an Old Country superstition. (Took 2 of the Cub, though, specifically because he looked like A... I needed that.) But now I also do the double take at other people's pictures. And then I feel like a freak.
