Here are the pretty pictures.
My labour of love. My Love's labour (though he hates all things landscaping related - except if it involves a pressure washer). He indulged my need to landscape in that Summer of 2005. Good for the property value, good for water consumption (mostly it is a drought tolerant landscape), and good for my soul.
P.S. It is my intention to add pictures from Summer 2006, then on to 2007. We'll see if that happens. First, I need to do a LOT of weeding.
In January of 2005, my son C. died. Then he was born. These are the 8 million pieces of my life, as I pick them up,one by one.
And now, featuring the addition of our second beautiful child, BB and his lovely sister E.

The magic of the close-up is that it seems as though I have a magical, gorgeous garden. You will notice there are very few photos of a whole flower bed. That isn't just for anonymity!
It is my eventual goal to have it look as good from a distance as it does in close-up.
