Now that just makes me hungrier than I already am!
Okay, that really does look pretty. But do you actually like it?? I am not at all a cucumber fan, so an entire sandwich made of them doesn't whet my appetite.
But I love the photo and your willingness to embrace a little fun!

Mayo, cucumber, and a dash of salt mmmmmmmmmmmmm..... tastes like summer!

If you like cucumbers, also try sliced cucumbers, sliced sweet onions, pepper, a dash of sugar, and some rice wine vinegar. Shake it up in a sealed container and let it sit for a few hours. Sooooo good, especially with grilled out food.
Rach - 12 grain bread, lashings of butter, cucumbers and a little salt... now that I think of it, cream cheese would be very yummy...

I've only read about cucumber sandwiches in books. I've never actually seen one before.
