If you don't have anything nice to say...

We saw our OB on Tuesday. In that visit we learned via ultrasound that the Babe has a cardiac arrhythmia and is measuring several weeks bigger than dates. I have polyhydramnios. All three issues could be self-resolving. So we wait and see our OB again in a few weeks.

In the mean time, I am getting more bloodwork done to rule out things like gestational diabetes (even though I passed the 1 hour screen) and we will see our GP next week. Our regularily scheduled NST is tomorrow.

Nothing to be done but watch and wait. I am not panicking right now... ask me again in 15 minutes.

Anyone with personal experience with any of these things, please feel free to comment, especially if you had a good experience!

P.S. This little person is getting really strong and kicking the crap out of me. And, I don't mind!

I'm glad the baby is kicking the crap out of you!
I'm sorry you have these extra complications to worry about, really hoping with all my heart that they do resolve themselves. C'mon Babe! You've got people across the world rooting for you!

A friend of mine had polyhydramnios and had to have fluid drained... it was not a super fun procedure, but she had it very badly... I think she measured over 40 weeks at ~26-27 weeks.

I hope everything resolves itself quickly!!

I have no advice or relevant stories but it sounds like they are watching you closely and that is good!! You are getting very close now....thinking of you and the Babe!

Thinking good and happy thoughts, and steadfastly refusing to accept anything other than a beautiful and perfect outcome.
